Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Minimum of 3 years experience as a full-time or consistently dedicated part-time nanny.
Successfully passes a comprehensive level 2 background check.
Strong childcare references highlighting dependability, excellent communication skills, timeliness, and emotional maturity.
Take initiative in decision-making that aligns with the family's parenting methods.
Educational credentials or established expertise in children's developmental needs.
Demonstrates proficient oral and written English communication skills, including email proficiency.
Willing to assist with light housekeeping and all childcare-related tasks, including organizing, laundry, cooking and cleaning up after the children.

The next step involves contacting your references for valuable feedback on your caregiving approach and performance. Nannies/Household Managers have Level 2 background checks, NCS have Level 3 checks.

After identifying families that match your skill set, we’ll arrange video calls with the top candidates. If a match is found, we’ll coordinate a final in-person interview.

Hourly rates in the greater Seattle area vary widely depending on factors such as education, professional experience, specialized skills, proficiency in additional languages and the level of responsibility associated with each position. Given the high caliber of candidates we represent, typical hourly rates range from $30 to $35 or more.

Although contracts are tailored to the individual needs of nannies and families, we usually advise incorporating incentives such as 2 weeks of paid vacation, 1 week of sick/personal days, major federal holidays, travel/overnight stipends, healthcare stipends, defined schedules, and regular performance reviews.

Applicants should be career-focused nannies with over 3 years of in-home care experience and references showcasing their skills in child development, housekeeping, organization, and communication.

Applicants for live-in positions are not required to currently reside locally. We welcome candidates from outside the region, as long as they are willing to relocate for the role.

We require references from at least three previous employers in recent childcare roles as part of our application and vetting process.

Initial interviews between the agency and family will be conducted via video call. Then before making a final placement decision, families will request an in-person interview.

Our client families agree to comply with all state/local tax and labor laws. Adhering to these regulations benefits both sides: employers may receive tax breaks to reduce their expenses, while nannies gain access to important short and long-term state benefits.
